Why your feedback is important

Your feedback will enable us to drive meaningful changes that make online services more accessible for everyone.

This project is run a little differently

It's critical that you provide lots of verbal feedback and detailed responses in the questionnaire

This isn't a test- it's detailed, specific feedback we're looking for. If you experience challenges opening an account and completing the tasks, chances are many others do, too. The purpose of this project is to seek feedback on what could be improved.

If you're confused, experience friction or find aspects of the user experience difficult, we need you to explain that as you go. Your comments and verbal feedback enable us to understand issues and opportunities for improvement.

The more verbal feedback, the better!

Recording platform of your choice

For this particular project, we won't provide a user testing recording tool. You can use OBS, Zoom, your in built device recording tools or any recording platform you please. We can give you some tips on recording tools too.

Recording between an app and browser

This user testing project may require you to record your user experience via a browser and an app depending how the organisation has designed the experience

You'll need identification to be able to open an account

It's more than likely you'll need to reference your idenfication to open an account. We will redact this information. Your ID will not be shared with financial institutions.

Separate recording for each task

We'll need you to upload separate recordings for each experience related to an organisation, rather than one big recording

Pay and deadline

4 hours pay is allocated for this project

Recordings and survey will need to be completed by Sunday 28 September

Your data and more information on the project

First up, none of your sensitive personal information will be shared with any of the financial institutions. See Me Please will delete any sensitive personal information, like Medicare Card details that might be referenced in the process of creating an account.

Your feedback, together with the feedback of many other user testers who rely on assistive technologies or adaptions, will be used to benchmark the usability of online services.

This research will be collated from the perspectives of different industries and different cohorts of citizens, i.e., people who don't speak English well or people with low vision.

Your feedback will be used to:

  1. Identify specific issues with each financial institution. We hope to work with these organisations to help build awareness of accessibility issues and help them improve

  2. identify common accessibility trends. We intend to aggregate the feedback to help government and the financial sector improve the accessibility of their services

  3. explore innovative technical capabilities, such as AI models that can proactively improve the accessibility of online services or improve the privacy of See Me Please's user testers

We have included more information explaining what we'll do to ensure the privacy and security of your data collected through this project and how your feedback will be used.
