1. About this notice
This notice explains how See Me Please handles your personal information when you use our Inclusive Icons & Illustrations plugin for Figma (the plugin), and the terms on which we offer the plugin and its pictures. It covers the plugin only. Our main privacy policies cover everything else we do:
Australia and the Asia Pacific: https://seemeplease.com/Privacy_Policy_AU
The UK, Europe and everywhere else: https://seemeplease.com/Privacy_Policy_UK
2. Who we are
Which See Me Please company is responsible for your information depends on where you are.
If you are in Australia, New Zealand or elsewhere in the Asia Pacific: Digital Discovery Pty Ltd (ACN 668 639 156), trading as See Me Please, Suite 306, 75 King St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia.
If you are anywhere else, including the UK, Ireland, the rest of Europe and the United States: See Me Please Limited (company number 16953184), registered in England and Wales, 27 Old Gloucester St, Holborn, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom.
You can contact either company at hello@seemeplease.com.
3. What we collect
Browsing the plugin and inserting PNG pictures needs no sign-up. When you sign up, for example to insert SVG pictures, we collect:
your first name, last name and email address
your company and job title, if you choose to give them
your choice about marketing emails, and a record of that choice: the wording you were shown, and the date and time
The plugin loads pictures from our website, https://assets.seemeplease.com (opens in a new tab), and sends sign-ups straight to HubSpot, our email and contact-management provider. Like any request over the internet, each of these sends your IP address and basic browser details to the server that receives it.
The plugin does not track how you use it, does not send us analytics, and does not send us anything from your Figma files. If we ever add usage measurement, we will update this notice before we do.
4. Why we use your information
We use your sign-up details to:
give you access to the plugin and its pictures, including SVG pictures
send you service messages about the plugin, the pictures and these terms, for example a change to the licence, a new paid option, a change to features or limits, or an important fix. These are not marketing, and we send them to everyone who signs up
understand, in general terms, which organisations and roles use the pictures, so we can improve them and plan new collections
If you tick the marketing box, we will also send you marketing emails, such as new collections, accessibility research and insights, events, offers and news about our services, and someone from our team may get in touch about how See Me Please could help your organisation. If you don't tick it, we won't send you marketing. The pictures are available whether you tick the box or not.
5. Our legal basis (UK and Europe)
If you are in the UK or Europe, UK GDPR (or EU GDPR) requires a legal basis for each use:
Access to the plugin and its pictures, and service messages: this is needed to provide the service you signed up for.
Understanding who uses the pictures: our legitimate interest in improving them. We use only the details you gave us, and you can object at any time.
Marketing emails and contact from our team: your consent, given by ticking the marketing box. You can withdraw it at any time.
6. Stopping marketing emails
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@seemeplease.com and ask us to stop. We act on requests promptly, and within 5 working days at the latest. Unsubscribing is free, and you keep access to the plugin and its pictures. After you unsubscribe we keep your email address on a "do not contact" list, only so that we don't email you again. You may still receive service messages while you use the plugin.
7. Who we share your information with
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with:
HubSpot, Inc., which receives sign-ups and sends and manages our emails on our behalf, in the United States
Amazon Web Services, which hosts our website at https://assets.seemeplease.com (opens in a new tab)
other See Me Please companies, where they need it to help run the service
a buyer, successor or new owner if See Me Please or part of its business is reorganised, merged or sold. This notice will continue to apply to your information
regulators, courts or law enforcement, where the law requires it
8. Sending your information overseas
Your sign-up details are stored in the United States by HubSpot. Other See Me Please companies may access them in Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
If you are in the UK or Europe: we protect transfers with safeguards recognised under UK and EU law, such as HubSpot's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, or standard contractual clauses.
If you are in Australia: we take reasonable steps to make sure overseas recipients handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and we remain accountable to you under the Privacy Act 1988 for how they handle it.
9. Figma
Figma, Inc. runs the Figma platform and is responsible for your Figma account and the information Figma collects about you, under Figma's own privacy policy at https://www.figma.com/privacy/ (opens in a new tab). We don't receive your Figma account details. We receive only what you type into the plugin's sign-up form.
10. How long we keep your information
Sign-up details: until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after your last sign-up, email open or click, whichever comes first.
If you unsubscribe: we keep only your email address on our "do not contact" list, for as long as we send marketing emails.
Record of your marketing choice: for as long as we hold your details, and for 2 years afterwards, so that we can show what you agreed to.
Technical records on our website: IP addresses and browser details in server logs, for no longer than 30 days.
11. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it. If you are in the UK or Europe, you can also object to how we use it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time, ask us to limit how we use it, ask for a portable copy, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before. To make a request, email hello@seemeplease.com. We may need to confirm your identity. We aim to reply within one month.
12. Complaints
Please tell us first, at hello@seemeplease.com, and we'll try to put it right. You can also complain to a regulator:
United Kingdom: the Information Commissioner's Office, https://ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab)
European Union: your local data protection authority, listed at https://edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en (opens in a new tab)
Australia: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, https://www.oaic.gov.au (opens in a new tab)
13. The plugin, the pictures and changes to these terms
See Me Please owns the plugin and the pictures. Your use of the plugin and its pictures is subject to the See Me Please licence at https://assets.seemeplease.com/licence (opens in a new tab), as we update it from time to time. Today the plugin and its pictures are free to use. We may change how we offer them over time. In particular, we may:
change the licence that applies to the pictures
introduce paid plans, charges, usage limits or features available only to paying users or to people who sign up
add, change or remove pictures, collections, features or formats
suspend or withdraw the plugin or any picture
Before a change like this takes effect, we will tell you in the plugin, on our website, and by email if you have signed up. Pictures you have already added to your files stay usable under the licence that applied when you added them. If you keep using the plugin after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to your use from then on.
14. Children
The plugin is for design professionals. It isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
15. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change affects how we use information we already hold, we'll tell you by email first.
